DAY 1 arrival Ilheus
Transfer in to local hotel; departure for local city tour, visit the Cathedral, the historical sites, the Jorge Amado house.

DAY 2 Ilheus – Cocoa farm and Atlantic Forest
At 7am, breakfast and departure to a day out tour. Visit the Reserva of Atlantic forest, 40min drive. Arrival at a local village of Banco da Vitoria, the gateway to the reserve. The reserve is also part of a land that used to be home of sugar cane engines, during Brazil colony times. Lots about biodiversity and sustentability can be seen. 30min hiking in the Atlantic forest. We’ll pass through an organic cocoa farm. Then, visit an Ethanol factory. At the end, we stop to see the Broad-snouted caiman.
We proceed to have lunch in a historical cocoa farm.

After lunch, we will visit the CEPLAC, a local research institute for the sustentability. We visit the local organic chocolate factory; then, the local reserve for the endangered specie maned sloth.
End of tour. Back to the hotel around 5pm. Free time.

DAY 3 Ilheus – Itacare and Atlantic forest
After breakfast, we departure to Itacare. (1h trip). Visit the local city, and reach our spot to begin our trail, where we going to do the canopy walk and zip-wire in the middle of the forest, reaching the great view over the beach. Possibility to a waterfall visit. Return to local hotel by 4pm. Free time.

DAY 4 Ilheus – next destination
After breakfast, we departure to local airport. Departure to your next destination. Time depends on you your flight time.
